I have this soap by The Soap Co which I want to tell you about, it smells so good & I can’t wait to try it out, it’s Geranium & Rhubarb fragranced. Each bar is cold pressed & handmade in East London in the UK. Ingredients include: Olive oil, Coconut oil, organic Coco butter, Bee friendly Borage, Shea butter, Calendula botanicals & Vitamins. The Geranium & Rhubarb fragrance contains Rubin Cordifolia root which is used in Ayurveda & Chinese medicine & has a sweet mellow fragrance.
This company is a social enterprise & 80% of employees are blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged. They are aiming to create 60 new jobs per year.
They are also an ethical company the ingredients they use are cruelty free & paraben free & ingredients & materials are sourced locally where possible. The bottles are made from old milk bottles & the aluminium range can be recycled indefinitely, the stickers are compostable & the film is made from renewable wood pulp which looks like plastic- Amazing!
The soap is hand cut, hand wrapped & also stamped with the makers name, if you look closely on the 2nd photo you can see mine has been made by Sue.
