Perricone High Potency Face Firming Serum

Perricone High Potency Face Firming Serum

Hey everyone how are you doing? Are you doing anything on this bank holiday? we went out yesterday to Grassington & had a lovely pub lunch for my daughters birthday.
.
Today’s post is the Perricone High potency classics face firming serum, these are key ingredients & what Perricone say:

ALPHA LIPOIC ACID (ALA): NATURE’S MOST POWERFUL ANTIOXIDANT
A fatty acid found in every cell in the human body, ALA reduces the appearance of lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores over time. Fat and water-soluble, ALA is highly absorbable and works alongside the body’s own antioxidant system.
DMAE: INSTANT FIRMING
Naturally produced by the human brain, DMAE helps visibly lift sagging skin over time. Easily and quickly absorbed, it visibly plumps skin to help support skin’s surface and protect against drying environmental aggressors.
HYALURONIC ACID (HA): INSTANT ALL-DAY HYDRATION
Topical HA provides essential hydration for visibly plumper skin. A low molecular weight enables HA to effectively penetrate the skin’s surface.

My thoughts on this are:

It’s a lightweight gel serum & has a lovely fresh aromatic smell in the packaging, It goes on the skin lovely & absorbs perfectly well. However!!! once it’s on the skin the smell changes & phew It has a distinct odour of fish (yes really) which is really quite strong. I didn’t like the smell at all, boy you can smell the actives in this!! It’s what Perricone calls “the smell of the ocean” The smell does dissipate after a while especially if you’re using other creams or makeup. I just use this one when I’m at home.
.
This is one of those products that you can actually feel working on you skin, I wouldn’t say it’s a tingle as such, but I could just really feel the actives working on my skin, no redness or irritation at all (bonus) & I can’t believe i’m saying this but I loved this serum even though it smells a little fishy!
Would I buy it again? Yes I would because my skin felt really incredible after using it.
Have you used Perricone products? Did they smell of the ocean?..
