For #bluemonday this week it’s the custom made prescription service @dermatica.skin 💙
I’ve been trying out their prescription for rosacea for the last three months. I did an initial post on instagram (July 21st) & I’m happy to report I’ve had really brilliant results from this treatment. My cheeks definitely look more calmed & less red, my husband noticed too!
You apply 1-2 pumps to clean skin in the PM, they recommend not to use wash cloths or scrubs as this can irritate the skin, just wash then gently pat your skin dry. After you apply the treatment you just apply a simple moisturiser over the top, I used my @beautybyzero night cream.
So how does it work?
You send a picture of your skin to @dermatica.skin for them to assess your skin & they suggest what treatment is best for you.
Key ingredients:
*Ivermectin: has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect and is anti-parasitic. This tackles the Demodex mite thought to be involved in Rosacea.
*Metronidazole: An antibiotic with anti-inflammatory properties; helps control the redness along with any spots and bumps of Rosacea.
*Niacinamide: An active form of Vitamin B3 with anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties. It can help reduce the redness and inflammation caused by rosacea while also helping strengthen the barrier function of the skin.
If you’re looking for an effective rosacea treatment I definitely recommend giving this a go.
Have you tried this? What are your thoughts on the prescription service? 💙
