The sun is shining! I’ve been for a run whilst listening to Emma Guns podcast today with Lisa Potter Dixon (I recommend!) I’m feeling good! Have you got a podcast, book, youtuber you’re into at the moment?… Today’s post is this codex face wash which I received in this months Cohorted box.
It’s a exfoliating wash with some amazingly wonderful ingredients in it which are:
* Elderflower plant acids to gently tone.
* Milk thistle to sooth.
* Safflower oil to reduce pores increase hydration & cleanse.
* Caster seed oil to clear pores for brighter skin & to smooth uneven skin tone.
* Grapefruit oil for scent & to tone.
* Jojoba grains for gentle exfoliation.

I have a travel size & I love that it’s still got a pump on it for easy dispensing. It’s a white medium texture/consistency with a lightness about it. It has a beautiful very light grapefruit smell to it. The jojoba grains give your face a light exfoliation which is just right. My face felt lovely after using this, fresh, cleansed & hydrated- Fabulous!!
Sustainability info: the tubes are made from plant based green polythene tubes to minimise carbon footprint. I really like the philosophy of this, you can find further info about Codex ethos on their website.
What face wash/exfoliator are you using today?…
