Healthy Skin Supplements by Skin Woof: Review

Hey everyone! I hope you’re having a good week so far? A bit of a different take for #texturethursday this week!

I’m always interested in skin & body health & have been really into supplements lately so when @skinwoof reached out I was really keen to try their vitamins as they’ve been developed with dermatologists to give healthy & glowy skin.

.

I’ve only been taking them a few days too early to report any benefits yet, but they’re choc full of great ingredients for optimum skin health.

Key Ingredients:

.

*Hyaluronic acid for skin hydration

*Collagen the building blocks of the skin which give that lovely bounce & firmness.

*Vitamin B complex comprises: Biotin B7 for hair skin & nail health, Folic acid B9 helps remove toxins from the body, reduce acne & give glowing skin. Vitamins B1 B2 B3 B5 B6 & B12 can help improve eczema, give smoother skin & help with wound healing.

*CoQ10 A powerful antioxidant which helps prevent free radical damage, encourages faster skin repair, helps promote collagen production & elastin to give more youthful looking skin.

*MSM  Gives the skin Sulphur for skin strength & collagen production. It helps to detoxify skin cells & can help reduce acne scarring.

*Lutein Which is an antioxidant & can help protect the skin from sun damage as it filters the high- energy wavelengths of visible light & slows down the rate of oxidative stress, therefore giving anti aging benefits. (I would still wear sunscreen)

*Lycopene which is found in fresh tomatoes, It helps to repair sun damage & skin pigmentation, it also reduces skin redness & is great for smooth skin as it helps new cell growth. It also has an anti -ageing effect as it helps with the production of collagen & melatonin.

*Botanical Extracts including grape seed for skin healing, sea kelp for balanced skin, hydration & is a powerful antioxidant. Bamboo which contains silica which helps reduce acne & promotes collagen production.

*Amino Acids (Pea Protein) which is great for healthy hair skin & nails. It strengthens the skin to keep it smooth looking.

*Omega-3 and Omega-6 (Fish oil & Flaxseed oil) fatty acids help reduce inflammation & skin sensitivity so can help to give clearer skin.

*Vitamins A, C, D, E & K for overall skin & body health

*Minerals (Copper, Iron, Zinc & Selenium) for skin health & strengthened immune system.

What do you think about supplements? Do you take any?
